In our optics we take care of preserving the visual health of our clients, so the first thing we do when they ask for contact lenses is to make a correct ophthalmological adaptation. This manages to rule out any possible pathology that prevents the use of contact lenses.

In addition, the adaptation of contact lenses serves as a guideline for monitoring the visual health of our users. We found three types of evidence.

TEST 1: Knowledge of handling contact lenses. On this day, the user puts it on by himself and has to wear the contact lenses for 1 hour. Over time, your visual acuity and how the material behaves in your eye is evaluated. If necessary, a new test is requested.

The duration of the adaptation can vary depending on different factors, but approximately between 3 – 5 days.

Liquids for SOFT lenses: travel size (100 ml) or normal (360 ml) single solution cleaning and disinfection liquids.

HH HA: For all types of soft contact lenses, it contains hyaluronic acid, to better maintain hydration.

HH SI: Special for silicone contact lenses or tears with greater oily secretion.
